THE 2024-2025 MR & MISS NIBS CROWNED

On Friday 8^th November 2024 NIBS Technical College community was treated to an entertaining evening at Carnivore grounds, during the Mr. and Miss NIBS beauty pageantry contest. From the onset, the beauty pageant attracted a number of contestants, with stiff competition being witnessed to the very end.

Ultimately Elvin Mwenda Gitonga and Veronicah Kamau were crowned Mr. and Miss NIBS respectively in the hotly contested event that is held yearly. Elvin Mwenda is a term 1 student pursuing a diploma In Journalism and media studies while Veronicah Kamau is a term 4 student in the cosmetology department pursuing a diploma in cosmetology.

The first runner-up position for ladies was taken by Ruth Wanjiku a hospitality management student while James Murimi a journalism student grabbed the men’s first runner-up position.

The second runner’s position was taken by Glory Nkatha for ladies while Titus Katitia held the men’s position. Glory and Titus are pursuing journalism and business management courses respectively.

The winners will serve in their respective roles until November 2025 when the next beauty contest will be held.

We wish them well as they fly the NIBS Technical College flag to a greater height.
