1. ENGINEERING LECTURER – PLUMBING

Reporting to the Head of Department the job holder will be required to implement the training curriculum that will enable the institution to achieve its vision and mission. This will be done through guiding students on various courses, identify their areas of strength and prepare them for the job market.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Continuously carry out research and prepare up-to-date learning materials for teaching.
  • Prepare course outlines and issue to students, teach the units allocated as reviewed from time to time.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of individual learning through formal assessments or informal methods and ensure feedback is given within the set time frame.
  • Prepare and submit to Academic HOD all examination and other required assessments.
  • Ensure the unit outline is sufficiently covered within the stipulated time period.
  • Participate in the moderation and administration of exams and other assessments.
  • Attend and participate actively in all academic departmental activities.
  • Prepare and present all the professional documents as required by the academic policy.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Civil/Building/Construction/Water Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Institution.
  • A minimum of two (2) years teaching experience and registered trainer with TVET – CDACC.

2. LECTURER – AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING

  • At least a Higher National Diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree will have added advantage.
  • A minimum of two (2) years teaching experience and registered trainer with TVET – CDACC.
